I have a bright spot to share with you in all this craziness! I got a wild hair to email my son Sawyer’s favorite Padres baseball player Chris Paddack yesterday to see if he would be willing to send a signed card or maybe an email saying Happy Birthday since today is his 10th and we were supposed to be at Opening Day. I CCd the email to our Padres rep. Within hours they were calling me, had gotten ahold of Paddack and putting together a promo video!! They are running with the feel good story and it’s gonna be on social media today! Can you believe it?? Quarantine 10th birthday turns best birthday ever! So thankful for the Padres doing something this awesome when the MLB season is on hold! Thank you San Diego!
